The following courses are required by the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (TALCB) and must be completed by every licensed Appraiser during the renewal period.

7-Hour National USPAP Update Course

7 Credit Hours (US) Appraisal CE

The core of this course focuses on the latest Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice updates as set forth by the Appraisal Standards Board of The Appraisal Foundation. Also included are issues that appraisers face in their daily appraisal assignments, as well as common USPAP violations.

    Shipping / Pickup Required: Classes marked with "Shipping / Pickup Required" do not include an online textbook. This means that students must pick up the textbooks from one of our campuses (Located in Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio) or have the books shipped to them at the cost of $15 per book. This course will cover appraisal concepts to build upon the aspiring appraiser's base-level knowledge of appraisal applications. The course examines how appraisers can identify and perform a complex appraisal assignment and the reasons behind an assignment's complexity (e.g., complex interests in ownership, complex market conditions, complex structures and sites, green features, etc.). The course also offers condensed and expanded case studies for students to apply their learned knowledge.
