The Legal Update I and Legal Update II Continuing Education (CE) courses listed below are required by the Texas Real Estate Commission for anyone looking to renew their real estate license. The Broker Responsibility Continuing Education course is required for anyone who has sponsored one or more Sales Agents, served as the designated Broker for a business entity that sponsors Sales Agents, or has been made a supervisor of other license holders. Legal Update I (2026-2027)

Legal Update II (2026-2027)
4 Credit Hours (TREC) Real Estate CEThis TREC-promulgated course covers various topics related to TREC's Canons of Professional Ethics and Conduct, with a focus on competency and agency relationships with respect to new legislation regarding non-representation status and written agreements. Broker Responsibility Course (2025-2026)

Important Information Related to Broker Responsibility Course (2025-2026) Course:
Please Note: Per TREC rules, students must pass the homework in order to progress in this course and access the scenario-based questions and Exam. In addition, students have 2 attempts to pass the course exam with a 70% or better. If the exam is failed twice, the course must be retaken in its entirety.
Who Must Take This Course? Every broker applicant or broker who applies to renew on or after January 1, 2026, must take the Broker Responsibility Course - regardless of whether they sponsor agents.
